Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Control (QC) Technologist will independently perform incoming/outgoing quality control activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs Incoming and Outgoing quality control based on the agreed sampling method
- Verifies the incoming parts or products specification (includes Drawings and text sheets), current configuration and it`s critical points
- Segregate regular parts from Part Approval and Engineering Parts
- Responsible on the integrity of quality records
- Segregate regular parts from Part Approval and Engineering Parts
- Actively participates on Control of Non-conforming Parts or Products
- Communicates urgent material issues
- Be able to manage materials FIFO (First In - First Out)
- On time transaction of VRA (Vendor Return Authorization) and Non-conforming Parts
- Vendor Communication to improve parts or product quality and supplier relationship
- Responsible in maintaining equipment or jig calibration
- Participates Continuous Improvement practices to improve product quality
REQUIREMENTS:
- Electronics Technology Diploma or equivalent
- Experience on Quality Control in Manufacturing
- Basic Statistical Tools (Pareto, Histogram, Grant Charts)
- Ability to work independently
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
