Marketing Communications Manager

JOB SUMMARY

As Marketing Communications Manager, you will have overall responsibility to identify, develop, and measure strategies to meet the company objectives of developing increasing corporate and product brand awareness, an authority in 3D as measured by an increasing web presence and lead generation, development of sales and channel collateral, and supporting various marketing initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic planning including corporate positioning, product positioning, market development and penetration plans, and related communications.
  • Implement a marketing strategy to position LMI’s products as leaders in their market segments including development of innovative channel programs that build, reward, and support channel partners.
  • Manage marketing, advertising, promotional activities and campaigns with measurable increases in qualified leads.
  • Manage a professional and creative marketing team.
  • Oversee marketing communications of all collateral for consistency, professionalism and clarity of messaging.
  • Define and direct marketing programs for demand creation, lead generation and interface with the Director of Sales for lead tracking and management.
  • Work closely with the Director of Sales and the Product Management to coordinate product related activities.
  • Develop and manage the Company’s entire marketing budget.
  • Work closely with CEO to ensure communication is aligned with overall vision, values, and brand.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

  • University business degree (MBA Preferred) or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • Emphasis on engineering and communication backgrounds
  • 10 years marketing experience in comparable industries with 4 years in a senior management position.
  • Relevant product and industry experience.
  • Proven success in managing channel partners. Experience with the development and continuous improvement of channel partner programs.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives, providing personal leadership through example.
  • Well-developed business acumen and ability to plan and prioritize
  • Excellent communication skills – oral and written – and presentation skills
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams, and third parties.
  • Metrics-driven and willingness to be held accountable
